Modeling was done in 3d studio max and took about 1 hours. It was lit with the vray sun and sky system. Which gave a really nice result, It wasn’t rendered with vray physical camera, instead a standard max camera was used.

Vray Interior to show different shadow studys. Room was lit with vray light planes over the window Gand a direct light acting as the sun. Gi calculations were done with an irradiance map and light cache. Glossy reflections were used on the wood material with a slight fall off.

This was a competition for a new shopping area. The modeling was done using Autodesk 3ds Max and for rendering Mental Ray. The lighting setup was one target direct light to simulate sun light and a skydome with a light blue colour , and then final gather was used for GI. After the base render was done Adobe Photoshop was used to add the people, trees and shop fronts.

This was a retail project done for a shopping center in Oxford. The modeling was done using Autodesk 3ds Max and for rendering Mental Ray. After the base render was done Adobe Photoshop was used to bring the render more life, using masks for the glass to add more tone and color correction. Then the people were added and shopfronts to complete the image.

Yee house was created after seeing it appear in the design magazine Wallpaper. It’s a great piece of Architectual Design. With so many windows the house has been designed to maximise light in every room. For this project Newtek Lightwave 3d was used to model the building. Rendering was done using worley fprime using radiosity. A Flyby walkthrough and Hi-res stills were rendered for this project. The first set of stills we’re done just to show the design of the house in a clay model render. Everything has the same material apart from the sky-dome which is set to a sunset gradient.
